2024 Grant Recipients

Arts in Reach, in Rockingham and Strafford Counties, was funded to support their mission of providing youth development for teen girls and gender expansive youth through arts programming.

Belknap House, in Laconia, focuses on safe shelter and supportive services and was funded to support the Family Mentoring and Resilience Program for women-led families transitioning from shelter to independence.

Brigid’s House of Hope, serving people statewide, provides safe housing for victims of human trafficking and exploitation and was funded to support their mission of hope, healing, and empowerment.  

BWINH, Inc, was funded to support their mission of empowering Black womxn (women, femmes, and nonbinary people) throughout New Hampshire through community, leadership, and education. 

Centro Latino de New Hampshire, serving people statewide, was funded to support their mission of building a self-sufficient, health, and civically engaged NH Latino community through education, services, culture and arts programming.

Claremont Learning Partnership, in Sullivan County, focuses on increasing educational access, attainment and opportunity for all and was funded to support team building programming at Oasis Drop-In Teen Center.

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County’s mission is to reduce barriers to economic stability and well-being and was funded to support the Domestic Violence Housing Supports Program.

Connor’s Climb Foundation, serving Rockingham, Grafton, and Hillsborough counties, provides suicide prevention training for youth, educators and the community and was funded to support their collaborative programming with groups serving female identifying participants.

Cornucopia Project, serving Hillsborough County, is focused on healthy eating through garden, kitchen, and farm education and was funded to support the youth farmer program which employs high school students.

COVER Home Repair, in Grafton and Sullivan counties, brings together homeowners and volunteers and was funded to support their efforts to normalize and celebrate women and gender-expansive persons on construction sites with all-woman projects. 

Dismas Home of NH, Inc, serving people statewide, was funded for their mission of providing treatment and re-entry supports for justice-involved women with substance use disorder in NH.

Girls Inc of New Hampshire, serving girls statewide, was funded for their mission of providing research-based programming and supports for girls ages 5-18 who learn to value their whole selves and discover their inherent strengths.

Girls on the Run New Hampshire, serving girls statewide, was funded for their mission of providing an experience-based curriculum that inspires and empowers girls through running and movement.

Harris Center for Conservation and Education, located in Hillsborough and Cheshire counties, was funded to support their “Lab Girls” STEM after school program for girls grades 5 through 12.

Hope on Haven Hill, in Strafford County, was funded to support their mission of providing treatment and services for pregnant and parenting women in recovery and their children.

Linda’s Closet, in Cheshire County, was funded to support their mission of providing free women’s clothing to individuals in need in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire.

New England Healing Sports Association, in Merrimack County, was funded to support their mission of providing equitable access to outdoor recreation experiences for those living with disabilities.

Overcomers Refugee Services, serving Merrimack County, was funded to support their mission of providing client services to refugees who have resettled in New Hampshire. 

Seacoast Outright, was funded for their mission of serving, supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ youth on the seacoast and expanding their programming throughout the state.

The Front Door Agency, Inc., serving Hillsborough County, works with individuals and families toward stability and self-sufficiency and was funded to support their “Money Matters” financial coaching program for women.

TLC Family Resource Center, serving Sullivan and Grafton counties, is focused on healthy development of children, youth, and families and was funded to support the expansion of their “New Moms” postpartum support group.

Turning Points Network, in Sullivan County, was funded for their mission of supporting victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and stalking through empowerment and advocacy.

United Way of Greater Nashua, Inc, works to make measurable improvements in lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities and was funded for Rosie’s Pantry which provides feminine hygiene products for female residents of Nashua.

2024 Reproductive and Sexual Healthcare Access FUND GRANTEES

As a statewide community foundation we invest in and advocate for access to a full range of reproductive and sexual health care for all who need it. Now more than ever, we must ensure that New Hampshire women, girls and gender expansive people are able to receive the health care they need. 

Our Reproductive and Sexual Health Care Access Fund invests in organizations and initiatives that advance reproductive justice, and that provide, support and work to ensure continued access to reproductive and sexual health care in New Hampshire. 

We’re pleased to announce our 2024 grantees:

Lovering Health Center serving people statewide, was funded to support their mission to provide confidential, comprehensive and accurate sexual and reproductive health information and services to all in a supportive environment.

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England serving people throughout New Hampshire, was funded to support their mission to provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education so that all people can make voluntary choices about their reproductive and sexual health. 

Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire was funded to support their mission of removing financial barriers for anyone receiving abortion care in or from New Hampshire through direct service funding and movement baulking, guided by patient need. 

Equality Health Center, serving people in Merrimack County and throughout New Hampshire, was funded to support their mission to advance health by empowering clients and communities through advocacy, education, outreach, and the provision of quality, non-judgmental healthcare with expertise in sexual, reproductive, and gender affirming services. 

 

2024 WOMEN & GIRLS OF COLOR FUND GRANTEES

The Women and Girls of Color Fund aims to reverse the historic and persistent underinvestment in women and girls of color. The Fund provides low-barrier, faster turnaround grants to projects led by and serving women and girls of color in New Hampshire.

We’re pleased to announce our 2024 grantees:

American Friends Service Committee, working statewide to challenge unjust systems and promote lasting peace, was funded for the Healing Justice Reentry Program supporting women returning to their communities from incarceration in New Hampshire’s prison and jails. 

Positive Street Art, working to inspire passion for urban arts and building stronger communities, was funded for the “Future Women’s Group” at Manchester West High School, focused on emotional well-being and empowerment for young women of color through mentorships and civic engagement projects.

 

Sista Creatives Rising, working to help BIPOC, queer, and/or disabled creatives gain access and visibility in the arts for personal healing, was funded to support “Art & Mind”, a virtual event to uplift others and advocate for change throughout NH and beyond.
