DEI Statement

The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). To achieve our vision of a New Hampshire where women and girls have social, political, and economic gender equality, we recognize the systemic inequities, past and present, that have resulted in an unequal society.

How we will continue to put DEI into practice at the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation:

  • We are committed to ongoing training for staff and board to continue learning diversity, equity, and inclusion to enhance our leadership.
  • We strive to elevate voices of marginalized communities — including but not limited to: gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, geography, gender identity, socioeconomic status and ability — in our research, advocacy, education, and philanthropy, as well as in our events and publications.
  • We are reversing the historic underinvestment in women and girls, especially women and girls of color. We believe NHWF has an opportunity and a responsibility to change the landscape in the Granite State by dramatically increasing investment in women and girls.
