Nonprofit Roundtables

Join other organizations serving women and girls in New Hampshire as we explore these topics that help us all be more effective in our work. The emphasis will be on sharing what YOU have found to be helpful and discussing the issues and questions that you bring. And most importantly, networking with others who are doing similar work to benefit women and girls in the Granite State.

Time: 10:30 am – noon via Zoom
Who can attend: Any nonprofit working with New Hampshire women and girls, with priority given to current and past grantees of the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation.

All nonprofit roundtables are free of charge.

2021 Roundtable Schedule

March 18: The ABC’s of Grants – What makes for a good grant? How can you make your application stand out from the crowd? Where do you look for grant opportunities? Share your best tips for writing a successful grant and learn what has worked well for others.

May 13: Events in a Virtual World – Each of us relies on events to raise funds, thank donors and engage the public. But the pandemic has changed everything about the way we do this. Join us to talk about what we’ve learned over the past year around offering virtual events and see what has worked well for others.

September 16: Creative Solutions in Challenging Times – As nonprofit leaders, we have to be creative. And the pandemic has made this more important than ever. Simply throwing money at a problem is not an option for us… sometimes we just have to think differently about an issue to resolve it. Have you tackled a tricky issue in a creative way? What did you learn along the way? Come and hear stories of creativity, ingenuity, risk-taking and sometimes just plain luck as we work to meet our organization’s mission and help our organizations to thrive.

November 18: Taking Care of Donors – Unpack your fundraising bag of tricks and share with us those things which have been most successful for you in taking good care of your donors – how you find them, how you cultivate them and how you thank them. Different organizations are successful with different strategies, so come and learn where others have had success and see if any of these ideas fit for you. You just may go home with a few new tricks of your own!

Keep an eye on your email for roundtable registration.
