PRESENTING THE INAUGURAL ISSUE
We are pleased to release the inaugural Status of Girls in New Hampshire Report – the most comprehensive compilation of data on girls in New Hampshire. The report includes 32 indicators in girls’ education, economic security, health, substance use, and safety.
These indicators highlight a strong, smart, resilient, and diversifying population of girls with endless potential. The data also highlight disparate outcomes by gender, race, ethnicity, and geography — these disparities present opportunities for investment and involvement to support girls.
Also highlighted in this report are New Hampshire Women’s Foundation grantees offering programs that support Granite State girls: Girls Inc. of New Hampshire, Girls at Work, Inc., Circle Program, Arts In Reach (AIR), and Girls on the Run – New Hampshire.
