Kile Adumene is the Executive Director of Manchester Community Action Coalition, a community-led organization that provides space for people of color, immigrants, and others to come together to address their needs and have a voice in community and civic matters. During the pandemic, this group launched a virtual tutoring program to support marginalized and low income students in the Manchester School District. MCAC has been a critical place of connection, support and community engagement during a time when youth in particular have been struggling with feelings of helplessness and social isolation.
Kile also served as the lead consultant on Pathways for Healing, which provided direct outreach to diverse and marginalized groups to connect residents more effectively with services and gather stories from community members about barriers to SUD services caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. She has worked alongside New Hampshire funders to design strategies and projects focused on equity and racial and economic justice for BIPOC communities. She brings a wealth of lived and professional experience as a Black-immigrant and highly skilled community organizer who understands the importance of building the capacity of others to organize for themselves and their communities.
Kile has over 20 year in the healthcare system of NH, is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Southern New Hampshire University, a recipient of numerous awards, and a mom of four.
