Jess Wojenski is the Engagement Director for the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation, where she will work to engage with donors, grantees, and community members around New Hampshire to further the mission of supporting women, girls and gender expansive people in our state.
Jess’s career has focused on engaging community members in state-level public health policy work. As Training Manager at New Futures, she managed and expanded their training program, providing hundreds of trainings and empowering thousands of Granite Staters with the knowledge of how to advocate in the NH state legislature about issues impacting them. She has extensive experience engaging with a wide variety of audiences and working to make complex topics like state level policy work more accessible. Prior to this, she was heavily involved in student organizing at UNH around gender equity issues, and interned at Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund and NARAL NH.
Jess graduated from UNH with a BA in Communication and Women’s and Gender Studies. She has also served on the board of the Equality Health Center and is an alumna of New Leaders Council NH.
Jess lives in Hampton with her wife and their cats. She enjoys watching comedy, doing craft projects, going to the beach, playing board games, and a good meal at a local restaurant.
