Jennifer Gilkie

Jennifer (Jen) E. Gilkie is the Dartmouth Health Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, heading system-wide communication and marketing strategy and initiatives across the organization. She is responsible for external marketing campaigns, thought leadership engagement, branding, earned and paid media, media messages, crisis and reputation management, and employee communications. She led the organization through a successful and comprehensive rebrand and oversaw communications through the COVID pandemic. Jen brings to her role over 20 years of broad-based management experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, including at NewYork-Presbyterian and American Express. 

A Massachusetts native, Jen spent 27 years in New York City and is known for building strategic alliances and partnerships. Jen served as senior vice president and chief of staff for the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee from its inception in 2011 to its shutdown in late 2014, helping to raise necessary funds to support the start-up and execution of the $80M initiative. Jen received her Bachelor of Arts in theater from the University of New Hampshire. Recognized as one of the 2025 NHBR Outstanding Women in Business, Jen serves on the boards for Northeast Delta Dental, the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation, and the Greater Manchester Chamber.
