Colin Van Ostern is a New Hampshire business leader with experience leading purpose-driven teams in higher education, tech, consumer goods, and politics & government. Most recently, he served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Alumni Ventures from 2019-2023, and previously was Chief Marketing Officer at SNHU’s online College for America, which he helped launch and grow to more than 10,000 students and graduates nationwide. Colin was publicly elected twice to New Hampshire’s five-member Executive Council (which serves as a board of directors for the state government) from 2012-2016 and was a candidate for Governor in 2016.
Colin currently serves as an independent Board Director for the New Hampshire Biofabrication Cluster. He holds a BA in International Studies from The George Washington University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Colin lives with his wife Kristyn and two sons in Concord, NH.
