Sue Mullen is a New Hampshire native from Manchester, a product of both the parochial and public schools.
Upon graduating from Keene State College in 1978, Sue went to work for the Bedford School District, where she taught elementary students for 12 years. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University in 1989, and worked as a school counselor for 27 years before retiring in 2017.
After participating in the Women’s Foundation’s Women Run! program, Sue was elected to the NH House in 2018, representing Bedford, Hillsborough County District 7. She is a member of the House Education Committee, the Children’s Caucus, and participates with the NH Youth Advisory Council.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys entertaining family and friends, traveling, and cherishing four exceptional grandchildren with her wife, Susan.
