Elizabeth “Zib” Corell comes to the Foundation Board through her involvement with the grants committee. A longtime activist on behalf of women, Zib was appointed to the Commission on the Status of Women by Gov. Shaheen. She went on to serve on the boards of the Women’s Lobby and the Concord Feminist Health Center.
Zib’s career training involved natural resources and planning. Her many years with the NH Dept. of Agriculture introduced her to all corners of the state where she gained both knowledge and appreciation for the natural environment. Testifying on bills impacting farm policy led her to an interest in state policy development.
Zib invests much of her time with the Kent Street Coalition, a grassroots progressive volunteer organization founded after the 2016 election to affect positive change in the State House. She raised two sons and lives in Concord.
